Mig was a very quick learner from a young age she showed good application to training and a willingness to learn. A nice stamp of a bitch, long bodied and a nice style about her her hunting came naturally and a natural desire to retrieve also.

Mig started trialling in 2013 gaining a 4th place in her first trial and then  2014 was a very good season in competition for Mig,  we started the trial season with a couple of 3rd places and then we had a good week in October with a 2nd place and then a win at the Scottish Spaniel Club Novice Trial at Glenalmond, and then ending on another high with 3rd in our first Open trial at Altyre with the MFSRC.

Mig was then retired from trials, I had suffered a knee injury making training and travelling long distances etc harder so we spent our seasons picking up 60-70 days she remained sound and excelled picking up, taking some lovely runners etc and a joy to handle onto any blind retrieves.

 She has always been an easy dog to have around and is easily enjoyed whether it’s at home or out on the shooting field, the biggest regret is not having had pups from her as she had awkward seasons and often 18mths between coming in.
